Who We Are

Welcome to Nurture House Montessori
Situated in a light and airy church hall with a lovely garden and beautiful surroundings. Nurture House Montessori gives the unique opportunity to explore the Montessori curriculum combined with the EYFS within the ages of 3months to – 5years.

The environment has been favourably prepared by the loving and caring practitioners to foster independence in the children and children are guided through a range of activities based on hands-on learning. “The hand is a tool to the brain” (Montessori). Each material is specifically designed to support the children develop essential life skills such as coordination, concentration, and a sense of order. All of which lay the foundation for character development and ability in academic progress.

Rooms

The Baby Unit. A calming and relaxed nursery environment is created within our Baby Unit, complemented by the loving relationship between a child carer and the little ones. Even at this age, babies are exposed to a wide range of activities, including painting, singing, and floor play.

Curriculum

The needs of the children are met through careful observation and real listening, with a genuine concern for the happiness and fulfillment of each individual. The environment is spacious, bright, well-maintained, and provides a warm, secure and relaxed atmosphere conducive to their well-being.

Parent information

Our Parent information function employs the help of Tapestry and is designed for attending parents and requires a log-in and password. Communication is of paramount importance at Nurture House and we aim to give you access to up to date documents and information to ensure you always know what is going on at the Nursery School. We provide you with ‘Weekly Plannings’ about the activities your child may be participating in and access to the monthly Parents’ Memo that informs you about events and changes within the Nursery School.
